This is fantastic. I tried to “make” my own version of something like this, but it wouldn’t stick to the car at all. This is very secure, held my Pixel 8 with no problem and it’s a normal “ball” mount for the phone holder part, so if you have a different holder (magnetic, charging, etc) that you’d rather use, you can use this base with that mount as long as it uses the ball mount. I had no issues with this shifting, sliding, or otherwise moving from where I stuck it regardless of the bumpiness of the road, including a gravel driveway at a farm.

Works great
This holds my Pixel 7 Pro phone easily with no mounting required. Simply screw the pieces together and the strong magnet holds it to the Ioniq pad. Great product.
