Powerful and versatile.
This blender is very versatile and easy to clean, it’s larger and stronger than I anticipated. Because of the variety of attachments I found I didn’t need the full size blender I bought with this and returned it. The price is great and this is the second Amazon basic product I’ve purchased, they definitely put quality into their products.

blending arm makes salad dressing and milkshakes like a champ
Got this to replace an older (15+ year old) hand blender from another brand. Pleasantly surprised by this, especially at the price point compared to other name brands. Much much powerful than my previous model, even at the lowest speed. Been using for a month to make salad dressing and milkshakes. Easy to clean, though I do hand wash the blending arm because I don’t want to risk it getting mildewy from water stuck inside the nooks and crannies (mildew was the reason I had to replace my previous hand blender).Two things that keep it from being 5 stars. First, I wish it came with a pan guard or it was offered as an accessory that I could purchase separately, as the edges on the blending arm are sharp and I worry it could scratch my pans. Second, I wish there were stickers or other notes on the parts of the blender that aren’t dishwasher safe (like the lid of the chopper attachment).Looks like reviewers have had mixed experiences with durability. Hope this holds up. Looking forward to trying the chopper and whisk attachments.

Sad – The blender broke in less than a year
We used the blender daily to mix a smoothie for breakfast. The plastic connection between the motor and the propeller shaft broke. It is supposed to have a 1 year warranty but there is no way on the website to get this Amazon basics product returned after the initial 30 days. It has good power but weak design to go with the power. It was okay to use until it was unusable. I expected a little more quality from Amazon. I guess they’re going downhill.

100% workhorse — suprised it doesn’t cost more
I’m currently chef de cuisine in a steady volume restaurant, and I needed a new immersion blender. So I bought this because the price was right, and 500w has some ‘oomph’ to it.I low-key expected this thing to be kind of a throwaway, but after a week of constant, heavy use, i’ve been pleasantly surprised! I’ve three sauces and two foams on the line that more or less need constant re-aeration/emulisification before and during service.Pros: — powerful — nice, heavy weight (doesn’t feel ‘cheap’) — easy adjustible speed wheel, and a “turbo” button for the insane person — detachable head is simple enough, steel easy to rinse off quickly. 8″ long, works great — cord is 5ft long from base to prong — great price pointCons: — not cordless (but the cord is long enough that it probably isnt a big deal if you’re working smart) — it is a *little* chonky to keep on the line with it’s length, but not terrible. Especially if you keep the head unit detached. — maybe would have liked a color option, because two of my cooks are now buying this thing++ It’s only been a week of heavy use so far, so time will tell, but so far, thoroughly impressed++//** UPDATE –02/02/23 — I’ve been using this thing several times a day for months now. Still in perect working order, as if it had just come out of the box. Still powerful, still easy to use. No issues. Mind how you wrap the cord (as with any electrical tool), so as not to wear out the cord’s connection to the unit. Would 1000% buy again //**// ** UPDATE #2 — 10/26/23. Still going strong. Still pretty much daily use. No issues to speak of. ** //

Love this thing
I threw away my name brand immersion blender because it was very awkward to use. This item is great. Very simple, very powerful, 2 power settings. The accessories are great, a whisk that can be used as a light duty hand mixer and a 16 oz cup fitted with a blade that works like a little food processor which I really appreciate because I don’t have a food processor. Very pleased with this item, especially at such a reasonable price.
