These pants are so flattering and have such a unique style. The elastic around the top is quite snug, i ordered a small and just reordered a medium to see which fits better. They are fun to wear, very flowing and cool for summer with great pockets and nice long length. Had to order another color!

Size DOWN at least 1 size! 5’2″ – 165-170 lbs – 41″-36″-41″ – White is lined! Hot weather approved.
TLDR — Size down at least 1 size, if not 2. Length is good for some petites (5’1″ to 5’3″) and regular height (up to 5’7″).I’m 5’2″ and weigh between 165-170 lbs. depending on the time of the month. My measurements are 41″ Bust – 36″ Waist – 41″ Hips. I generally wear size 10-12 or L-XL depending on the brand, fabric, type of clothing, etc.I have a small FUPA but no butt, so occasionally I can size down to a size 6-8 or M (Medium) depending on the stretch of the fabric. I’m short-waisted and usually wear mid- or high-rise with a short or regular inseam depending on the pants and type of shoes I’m wearing.I ordered size L (Large) as suggested by Amazon in the color white, and it’s too loose and baggy overall.The smocked waistband is comfortable and super stretchy. The white linen pants have lining inside all the way down except 6″ from the bottom so it’s not see through! You can’t see the deep pockets… maybe very faintly if you’re looking really hard in the picture.(I wish other white pants are lined like this, because there is nothing more annoying than having white pants that are practically transparent where you can see the pockets or even your nude underwear.)Because the pants are lined, it does add some noticeable weight to the overall feel of the pants, and along with the super stretchy smocked waistband, it causes them to slowly slide down. The pockets are deep and a great addition, and you could fit a phone in there, but because of the overall “heaviness” of the fabric and lining, the phone would definitely pull down the pants because the waistband won’t support it.For this reason, I would size down to a size Medium for a relaxed fit or even a Small for a tighter fit.I’m only 5’2″ and have the smocked waistband pulled above my belly button. The length of these pants are 41.5″ with an inseam of 27.5″. I’m wearing 2″ platform sandals where the pants are almost grazing the floor.If you’re shorter than 5’2″ and don’t want to wear 3″ heels/ wedges/ platform sandals, these may be too long for you. Check the size chart for the overall length of the pants.According to the tag, this is made in China and it’s only 30% linen and 70% rayon. It says, “Dry clean only. Do not bleach. Steam iron.”I used a garment steamer to get the wrinkles out. The fabric isn’t scratchy like typical linen since this isn’t 100% linen. It felt light and breathable, even in hot, humid 92°F weather. Sitting on them obviously causes them to wrinkle in the back but the front remains mostly wrinkle free.Based on the size chart, I think going by the hip measurement would be best. Size medium for me would provide a much better fit where the waistband is hopefully a little tighter but the pants are still relaxed enough, while size small would provide an overall tighter fit.I’m debating on washing these to shrink them down a little as others have mentioned.Aside from the dry cleaning care instructions, who has time for that?! I do like these pants a lot and will order another pair or two in different colors and smaller sizes. I’ll update my review later if I remember.

Wash cold delicate cycle, line dry.
They arrived wrinkly but still cute. I loved them and was concerned about washing them due to reviews. I washed on gentle cycle with cold water. Then, I hung them to dry. They were pretty heavy when wet, but after they dried, they were light weight and weirdly, almost all the wrinkle were gone. When I put them on, they were inperceptibly shorter (good thing becuase I was concerned about stepping on them at 5′ 3/4″. I could also see the pleats after they dried. I couldn’t see them the first time when they were wrinkly. They looked really nice, but the look did change from ultra relaxed to a little more dressed. The smocked waist is better looking in some light, cheaper looking in other light, but what a deal. These will be GREAT for summer!!! I usually order XL and these were true to size. I’m sure if I stretched them, there would be tons of room, but if I sized down, I doubt the pleats would drape as well and they wouldn’t sit on my hips the same.

Disappointed in the tailoring
I waited MONTHS for the price to come down on these. When I finally got them I was thrilled by the fabric, fit, and color. I wore them once. One wash later and the seam came completely apart. Extremely disappointed. I own other clothing from them, hoping I just got a bad pair but I don’t trust it enough to buy another pair of pants.

Have these in 2 other colours. Great pant, fit well, just what you want in a wide leg linen type pant. Fabric is thick – so could be warm on very hot days. I returned this paid as they were darker then I had wanted.

These pants were adorable and I absolutely loved them until I washed them and they are now too small for comfort – and an odd length. Too long to be capris and to short to wear normally. Not sure what I’m going to do with them now.

Bought these for my mother who is 5’7 with longer legs, were way to short on her looked like flood pants. Returned
