This worked pretty well!
This gadget worked better than I expected it would. It is bigger than I thought it was going to be. It is made of plastic. The only instructions are written on the top and bottom of the box, so I’m going to store it in the box. It says that it is dishwasher safe and since I used it for chicken, I stuck it in the dishwasher on the top rack. It washed great and didn’t melt or warp!The instructions on the back of the box show a whole chicken breast being put on top of the spikes of the bottom of the shredder. Then you put the top on top of the breast and turn the whole top in one direction using the two handles until the chicken is shredded as much as you want it. This allows you to have big chunks or smaller chunks. I used it with frozen fully cooked chicken strips. I defrosted the chicken strips in the refrigerator first and then laid them on top of the spikes, put the top on and turned it in one direction. It did a pretty good job of shredding the chicken! There were a few larger pieces and a lot of shredded pieces but that was fine for what I was using it for.The spikes are pretty sharp! I tried washing it by hand and it was too difficult with all those sharp spikes so I put it in the dishwasher instead. I used the top rack just to be safe. It fit better on my top rack, too. It came out great!The two knobs pop into the holes at the edge of the top. They fit into the groove along the edge of the bottom portion of the shredder. They move pretty easily. I had a difficult time pulling them out before I put it in the dishwasher, so I just put it in the dishwasher with them attached. After I took it out of the dishwasher, I tried again to remove the two knobs so I could get it back in the box and they pulled out without too much effort.This also came with two plastic meat claws but I didn’t have any need to use them yet. I was able to put the whole thing back into the original box to store it. It took some effort to figure out how to get it all in there, but I did it! I plan on using this whenever I need to shred meat. It is much easier than just using meat claws, especially when I use the fully cooked frozen chicken strips or pieces in my meals. It worked great for that when I defrosted the chicken first.

Difficult to clean, but shreds very well!
it works just as good as every other chicken shredder, it’s just a bit difficult to clean. just the nature of the product I assume, but it still works flawlessly.

Heck of a game changer
I never had one of these until recently. After seeing how easy this made shredding I had to have one. But I believe this design/brand I chose is superior quality to the one that a friend had for her kitchen. I love the twist handle design and dish washer friendly.Before I would just shred my meat of choice with some forks or other utensils thinking it was of similar work both being manual work.. not the case. Definitely quick and just about effortless!I also tend to use it to quickly chop up meat for my 10 month old.

Nice lil shredder!
It does the job well and can fit two full sized cooked chicken breasts on there. It’s like a grinder pretty much, same concept. Everything is in plastic so it’s not sharp to the touch. The cleaning however does require a brush to make it easier than using hand/sponge to reach between the nodes. This comes in handy when I’m shredding up leftovers or making tacos for example. I’d say a neat tool to have if you’re having guests for a BBQ with multiple uses in one sitting since the cleaning part takes way longer than the actual use. You can move the pieces of shredded chicken around and turn more times to grind/shred the pieces down even more. Does the job. Thanks!

Works better with freshly cooked chicken
This tool is a good single purpose tool. If you make meals with shredded chicken this will save you time over hand shredding it. I tried it first with cooked chicken in my fridge but it struggled to shred it easily. I had to hold the whole unit still while shredding the chicken. It works better with freshly cooked chicken whether that is baked, broiled or rotisserie. The handles have a good feel and there is a rubber ring on the bottom of the device to hold it to the counter while you shred the chicken. It’s a good price for something like this and would be a great tool for those who shred chicken for recipes often.

Just makes life a bit easer
This is one of those I didn’t know I needed this. It is bigger than expected but works like a charm. You put the chicken into the round part and put the lit on, The teeth shred the chicken just like that. So easy your children can be helpful in the kitchen.

What a time saver
I was a little skeptical about how well this was going to work when I ordered it, that has changed. This was really easy to put together and just as easy to use. I cooked a couple of boneless chicken breasts and this shredder made short work out of shredding it for chicken soup. The base is surprisingly grippy on our granite counter tops, I was afraid that it would twist when shredding and it didn’t budge. The teeth on the top and bottom work really good together to quickly and efficiently shred and entire chicken breast in seconds. This has quickly become one our favorite kitchen tools and gets used a lot. We love that it works great, and that it is easy to clean. I’m calling this a great value for the price, convenience, and quality.
