I like the size. I wanted something smaller than my previous table to add more room to the area. It was easy to put together. I love the look of the wood and black is a perfect accent color for the room. The sides fold down easily for a smaller space but I just like it as is. Chairs and seat cushions also from Amazon.

WOW What a table! .. this is NOT JUNK FURNITURE: IT’S SOLID WOOD!
High quality wood, very pleased. Functions well, solid construction. Excellent paint on the pedestal ( I chose black pedestal and cherry top table)…and the stain and finish on the cherry top is very good. Marked ” made in Vietnam” on the underside. In terms of assembly it’s easy.. except the small wrench tool supplied, while it works is a little cumbersome to use : reason is the bolts to attach and tighten the pedestal feet is within the pedestal base.. so have a pinch pliers or regular pliers on hand to tighten the bolts.. do not over tighten….. also make sure you insert the wooden bars (which hold the table leafs to remain open for full size table) into the sockets with the finger holes facing to the floor… BEFORE you install the 2 small plastic stops into the table top..otherwise you wont be able to install the wooden bars into the sockets.. if you install the 2 small plastic stops first.. This is not specified in the assembly instructions ( which I found inside the pedestal base.. don’t panic that you have no instructions. they should be in there. The table comes in 2 boxes… one for the pedestal and feet and the other for the top. They are both packaged extremely well with foam boards so there should be zero shipping damage. I highly recommend a coat of Howard FW0016 Feed-N-Wax Wood Polish and Conditioner, Beeswax & Orange Oil on the table top and base before you begin use.. this will harden and protect the finish against scratching. I am a long time furniture repair person and this table is fantastic for the price. I was very happily surprised!

A nice piece of furniture at a reasonable price
Similarly priced tables are smaller and not fit for two people to sit at, nor are they made of pure wood. This was a lovely find on Amazon at a shockingly reasonable price. A table small enough for my limited dinning space, yet large enough to fit four people comfortably. It comes in an array of colors, but I chose one of the two offered blacks.The table came carefully packaged and arrived undamaged, the only eyebrow raising thing was the appearance of paint stained barefoot footprints on the inside of the packaging box. It was easy to put together, while listening to a podcast and not an ordeal to set up right after assembly by myself. The table while light weight is sturdy, though I would suggest if you have kids or rambunctious pets that you put a rug under it.The deduction of one star comes from wiping the table down before use and noticing scratches, the most noticeable being a zig-zag scratch along the middle part of the table-top. It irritates me, but isn’t something worth disassembling and returning over.

Table top is not quality
I knew I wasn’t spending a ton of money on this but had hoped for a little better quality table top. It feels cheap and then after having it for a couple of weeks I noticed a crack right down the middle. We weren’t even using it. It had a planter on it. There’s just 2 of us so I’m guess it was there when it arrived but got worse after set up.
