They call this a motorcycle phone holder but I’ve installed it on a scooter and it can work just as well on a bicycle or ebike. It is definitely a high quality phone holder made from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and its surface is treated with a grade III hard anodizing for added strength. Additionally the stainless steel ball head is covered with a non-slip rubber so it won’t move around after you tighten it in place.This item did not come with any instructions, however it’s pretty intuitive and easy to figure it out. The best way is to look at the first picture in the product description and you’ll see how it’s supposed to look. The phone holder comes with two sets of screws; one shorter and one longer and you pick the one that best fits over the clamp that attaches to your handle bars. An allen wrench is also provided for you to tighten all the screws associated with the minor assembly.What’s also special about this phone holder is the spring loaded auto retracting mechanism allowing you to pull it out to the desired size of your phone, then when you let go it retracts tightly to hold your phone in place. Both sides of this mechanism have built-in non-slip rubber pads to protect your phone from scratches. There’s also a secondary lock tab to further anchor your phone so it will stay with you and never fall off…except for perhaps an accident. This product is compatible with nearly every phone brand, make and model on the market today so it’s extremely versatile.I would not hesitate to buy another one of these phone holders to use on a different bike. I love this mount.
This mount installs pretty easily, and holds very tight. The adjustment knobs give you plenty of range of motion to change the angle on your phone however you like. The best part about this mount is the way that you can clip your phone into place, and then turn the locking level on the back, assuring that there will be no wingnuts slipping loose, and your phone will stay in place. This thing is built with very premium construction, and the machines aluminum is all padded to give your phone great security without scuffing the surfaces. Exceptional product, would buy again in a heartbeat.
