Good machine at a reasonable price, though “refurbished”!!!
Reasonably fast processor, lots of RAM, and decent battery life.Interestingly, when I called HP for some minor tech support, they told me this unit was “refurbished.”No blemishes, but Amazon should have put that this is a “pre-owned” machine.I wonder if the SSD is not going to last as long, since with frequent use, SSD’s wear out faster than hard drives.

Not great for videos
I bought this laptop impressed with the memory, operating system and case, and the fact that it was described as Business Laptop.However, the performance viewing videos, and working with multiple Excel workbooks is poor. I didn’t realize that the I3 chip was so lacking in power.So, I did a Spectrum speed test on this new PC vs my 5 year old HP and got the following:With VPN off: Old PC 470 mb/sec vs New PC 304With VPN on: Old PC 267 mb/sec vs New PC 163.Sorely disappointed.

More Useless By The Day
UPDATE: This computer is almost unusable after only a year. The mouse pad is stuck 80% of the time and makes it VERY difficult to use. It opens it’s own tabs and apps. It closes important things at random. The mousepad does anything and everything but sit there. It will do it when you’re using it. It’ll do it when you’re at work. IT really doesn’t matter the context it’s broken. DON’T BUY THIS COMPUTER. If I weren’t barely making it paycheck to paycheck I would throw this straight in the dumpster.I honestly hate this computer. It for the most part runs fine but the mouse pad is worthless. It constantly stays clicked and renders the computer useless except for highlighting and grabbing whatever the cursor is on. The only saving grace is the touchscreen. If it weren’t for the touchscreen I would have had to get another new computer less than A YEAR after buying this one. The only way to unstick the mouse pad is to get a exacto knife and pop it out through one of the edges. Also this problem started almost immediately but I was too broke at the time to get a warranty or a good computer unfortunately. If I were you I’d invest more money in a better FUNCTIONING computer/laptop. Just don’t do it. Seriously.

Easy to set-up.
Set-up was quick after all the needed Windows updates. I have no problem with the battery, the problem may be they need to reduce the brightness of the screen, the brighter it is the more battery power it uses.The computer suits our needs so I give it a 5. It’s fast for us and the picture quality is good. I connected an external DVD player to it using VLC as the media player and it works for us.

description not accurate
good computer for the price, but a total lie about the battery life.when fully charged last for 4 hrs not 12 hrs as it claims too.because of that, it is over priced by 100 dollars, dont belive the hype all of the time;
