Great for arthritic hands
I have moderate arthritis in both hands and have to ask my spouse to open bottles and jars for me. I often think that, if I lived alone, this would be a huge problem! I like being independent, so when I saw this set, I ordered it. I have had the jar opener item before, and found it just so so. It fit some jars but not others. This one is GREAT! The difference is that this one is hinged! It will open wide enough to fit over any size jar and you can squeeze it closed to make a seal. That in itself is enough to recommend it. The bottle opener is a life saver. Plastic bottles are getting harder and harder to open. This tool fits down over the cap and has a lever for twisting. The cap comes off easily. At first I had a problem getting the cap out of the tool after it was off the bottle. Then it dawned on me that the best way to get it out was just to screw it back onto the bottle! Works great. This is a terrific set if you have similar problems to mine. Makes my life much easier.

Easy to use. Helpful
Very helpful. Sturdy I only wish they had a larger jar opener cause I really need that. This one works great but then you’ve got the larger mouth jars that have the lids that you can’t get off and then of course they don’t have that size but as a hole, it is a wonderful product and very helpful. I have carpal tunnel and then sometimes I just have pain because I’m on the computer all day so it is really. Also great for twist top bottles on wine bottles or other things. I highly recommend us.

Great for weak and painful hands
I love this opener. I purchased a different one that has no give. It was pointless because my hands were weak and painful. This one opens up easily to adjust to the top you’re trying to open. The smaller one is great for cans with pull tops. It has a little slit on the bottom that assist in lifting the tab if you have pain or extremely weak hands. Once lifted you the hook to pull the tab.

These are the most helpful gadgets. Suffering from severe arthritis in my hands makes opening jars so difficult. These have solved the problem 😃
