Good strong hold
The magnet on this is great. I haven’t had any issues with it attaching to my phone and staying put. The kickstand/finger hold is not the greatest which is my only complaint.

I’m not having the best luck with Telesin products, 0 for 2, so far. Minus 2 ⭐️ because I can’t use this product with my every-day phone. The silver part of this works great. Strong magnet, good handle/stand etc. However I have an iphone xs max, ie pre-magnetic back, so have to use the included sticky magnetic ring on my phone. No problem. Except it doesn’t work. It seems sticky, did stick on over time, but the *instant* you put any pressure on it to take off what it’s attached to, it comes right off the phone. Still feels sticky, and sticks back on, and falls off as soon as any stronger magnet even looks at it. There was something in the instructions about not pulling at it, with something magnetic **until it’s fully stuck on, which takes about 2 hours** – so it seems like they know the ring doesn’t stick well. Wouldn’t withstand any bumps or jars, as the Telesin holder would come right off, WITH the magnetic ring, and your phone would go flying. Mine has multiple times in the process of making my review video.My Telesin neck mount (seen on the mannequin in my video) also came with a sticky ring, which I put on my OLD iphone, as I also use that for filming, and it’s stayed put. Works just fine. Not really sure why the ring that came with this ring holder doesn’t stay stuck. So still can’t use any of my mag products with my xs max – maybe this phone backing is different from older phones, and resists sticky things? Who wants to buy me a new iphone?**Going to start qualifying my Vine reviews, just to be helpful. I’m not randomly ordering through my Vine account, but rather only getting items I have been needing a while, or wanted and couldn’t yet justify the purchase, or things I come across that solve an immediate problem for me. (although a bubble gun was an impulse buy). Sometimes I settle for something less nice than I’d prefer, because it’s a “need” and worth trying, if only until I get my dream version of a product. My reviews are sincere, but also —-> if I put 3 or 4 stars, I will list the reasons, and unless my review specifically states the item is hot garbage, please assume they’re worth your time if the item meets your own expectations/needs (usb charging, remote control, color, whatever). If something doesn’t work, is flimsy or sketchy, I’ll put it in the body of my review.

Too bulky for my liking
I ordered this thinking it would be good as a stand for my phone and possibly for using the ring as a holder, but I find it far too bulky and heavy. Let me first say I am not using it with a magnetic case. I used the sticky attachment to attach it to a very thin phone case. Because of that, I cannot just take it off when not in use. That said, it just adds too much weight and thickness. I feel like my iPhone13 Pro is twice as heavy with this on it! It does hold the phone up well when used as a stand, but that’s about it. The ring is way too big to be useful as a finger ring to hold the phone. You also would not want to attach a wallet on it because it sticks out almost 1/4 inch from the phone (which also makes it to bulky to put in your pocket or purse with this on it!)Not a good fit for me and my use. Might be a great solution for other uses!

I liked everything but the finger ring
It’s not so much that the product is bad, but perhaps the shape of my hand is too small to find the ring comfortable. It’s good at everything else though. It let my phone sit on its side during my lunch breaks thanks to the firm seal of the magnet. The material is pretty lightweight feeling, and it didn’t seem like it would bend or break easily. I know this is meant for the Osmo Mobile stand, but I tried it with other magnet stands and unfortunately it did not work with those, but it might with the many others I haven’t tried. But if you have the proper stand and the other features fit your needs, this will be a good accessory for you.

Bis ich das Testangebot der TELESIN Ringhalterung für den Osmo Gimbal erhalten habe, wusste ich gar nicht, dass es sowas gibt. Ich mag den Gimbal sehr, aber das Gerödel mit der mitgelieferten orginal Halteklammer ist relativ nervig. Diese magnetische Halterung versprach Abhilfe, also habe ich das Testangebot dankend angenommen.Man bekommt in einer kleinen Schachtel die Ringhalterung selbst, sowie einen selbstklebenden Magnetring, der nicht-magsafe Handys in solche ‘verwandeln’ kann. Letzteren habe ich nicht ausprobiert, weil mein iPhone schon Magsafe besitzt. Die Anwendung der alternativen Halterung ist denkbar einfach, allerdings sollte man auf die Orientierung achten. Man setzt die Halterung so ans Handy, dass das Scharnier des klappbaren Rings zur Kamera zeigt. Auch wichtig ist, die Halterung gut auszurichten, da sonst das Handy vom Gimal schief stabilisiert wird. Das ist aber selbst mit Augenmaß sehr einfach. Dann kann man die Kombi aus Ring und Handy an den Gimbal setzen, was nur in einer Position funktioniert. Die Magnetkraft beider Seiten, also zum Handy, als auch zum Gimbal ist sehr gut und das Handy sitzt sicher am Gimbal. Das beschreibt eigentlich die ganze Funktionsweise.Man kann den klappbaren Ring an der Halterung auch dazu verwenden, das Handy aufzustellen. Diese Funktion benutze ich aber nicht, schon weil die Halterung nun fest in meiner Gimbal-Box verstaut ist. Man sollte vielleicht erwähnen, dass beim iPhone Pro (ohne Max) der Abstand zwischen dem Scharnier des Rings und den Kameras sehr gering ist. Mit einer dickeren Hülle könnte es knapp werden, den Telesin plan aufzusetzen, ohne das er am Kamerabuckel des Cases anstößt. Mit meinem normalen Transparent-Case passt es aber gerade so.Mein Fazit: die TELESIN magnetische Ringhalterung ist eine super praktische Ergänzung für Osmo Gimbal Besitzer und funktioniert tadellos. Die Anbringung des Rings geht um ein Vielfaches schneller, besonders wenn man keinen Tisch zur Verfügung hat und eventuell im Stehen diese Klammer ans Handy setzen will, möglichst noch ohne irgendwelche Tasten am Handy zu drücken. Die Qualität der Halterung ist sehr gut und wirkt fast edel. Ich gebe der Ringhalterung gerne 5 Sterne und eine 100%ige Kaufempfehlung.
