Realizing Omega’s taste like Fish Oil
Love, love, love that this comes in a glass bottle with a metal lid and cardboard box. No plastic packaging!I’ve never had chia seed oil before but I eat chia seeds on my yogurt bowls regularly. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had recently gotten some Incan Protein Seeds to try, which are also high in Omega 3, and felt they tasted like fish oil. Now, I’ve tried this oil and felt it tasted like fish oil. I guess that’s just the taste of omega 3’s, not fish oil!As someone who doesn’t like fish, it was not to my taste. But I am trying to change my mind on it because I know it’s full of great stuff! I do taste a bit of nuttiness that others have mentioned. I’m going to keep trying it and see if I can’t change my perspective about the flavor of omega 3s.But none of that was the fault of this product, which is 100% pure and organic. I love this company and what they are doing!

Tastes great and works well with many dishes
I’ve never used chia seed oil for culinary purposes before this, so I had to do a little research beforehand. Chia seed oil has a lower burning point than your canola or olive oils, so this is better used as a finishing oil, similar to sesame oil. The taste is subtle, nutty, and works really well as a salad dressing oil with some good balsamic vinegar.The bottle comes nicely packaged in a solid cardboard container to protect it during transit. At the price, you get a really high quality oil to add a nice subtle nutty flavor to your meals, salads or sandwiches.

Fantastic healthy oil!
I’m a huge fan of chia seeds and now I get to use this delicious organic chia oil. It is a very versatile oil that can be used in nearly anything. I wasn’t sure if it could be used to lightly fry an egg but a search showed that this particular brand can be used for stir fries and actually has a higher smoke point than extra virgin olive oil. Of course the delicious taste of chia oil is best used in a salad where it is absolutely perfect! Chia has a very high amount of Omega 3 ALA fatty acids so is great for your health. This comes in a large glass bottle so will last quite a while and is very reasonably priced. I’m quite happy with this and will be purchasing more in the future.

Tasty, slightly nutty flavor
This bottle of Seeds of Wellness – Organic Chia Seed Oil is very nice. It is in a thick glass bottle, and is a great source of Omega 3 fatty acids. The oil is organic and has the USDA Organic seal and it has the non-GMO label. The bottle was very well sealed and the bottle we received was manufactured in 2024 and has an expiration date of 2026.My husband used this to saute some vegetables, because it has a very high smoke point. The oil did not impart any flavor to the food. I have also used it to drizzle on salads, and it’s very tasty!

Not fresh and slightly rancid.
My bottle of oil was made in April 2024 so it nearly a year old. It expires in April 2026 but both my husband and I thought it smelled rancid. I won’t use a rancid oil. I was looking forward to trying it. I will say it did come nicely packaged so not trouble with shipping and breakage as it was well-packed.
