Had this for a while now. Good simple thermometer with a backlight and magnetic base. Extremely durable and waterproof…. I accidentally left it outside a couple times in a downpour and it still worked perfectly fine.

This is a great thermometer to have by your grill or oven to check meat temps. Seems fairly accurate, the display is easy to read and the light is bright enough to make the temp legible in low light conditions. Convenient, easy to use and a good value.

Handy, compact, fast-reading
Great, compact form factor with a padded magnetic back to stick it to the fridge with no scratches. Reading is so fast I haven’t attempted to time it, I would guess 1 or 2 sec.Highly recommend.The only thing I would change is to add auto-on when the probe is deployed, but that’s not a complaint to knock off a star. That would add cost and bulk anyway.

Love that it’s magnetic!
Works well, is easy to read, and really easy to find since it’s magnetic and I just have it stuck to the side of the fridge near the stove. So much better than lost in a big utensil drawer.

This is a sturdy unit with a handy magnet and a lanyard tie point at the end. It is a touch bigger than the picture suggests, but no problem. I use this tool in an industrial setting to test that poured liquids have cooled down to the proper point for jelly handling. Works well. The folding probe avoids it getting damaged. The orange colour makes it easy to spot on a work table. You could attach it with a lanyard. You can throw it into a tool bag or drawer. Uses a normal 1.5 battery. Comes with instructions. Will work fine in a kitchen for hot food measurements. I like its sturdy construction. Good value.
